Planning & Analysis

Standard 2: Planning and Analysis  Students demonstrate the skills and knowledge to identify the needs of stakeholders and cause of target population’s performance gap and then determine emerging technologies that could facilitate achieving instructional goals.

Artifacts may address some of the following competencies:  a. Conduct a needs assessment in order to recommend appropriate design solutions and strategies. (advanced).  b. Identify and describe the target population and environmental characteristics(essential).  c. Select and use analysis techniques for determining instructional content (essential).  d. Analyze the characteristics of existing and emerging technologies and their potential use (essential).
