Design and Development

Standard 3: Design and Development  Students demonstrate the skills and knowledge that specify the desired performance outcomes and generate an instructional product in different delivery formats with other specialists. 

Artifacts may address some of the following competencies: 
a. Use an instructional design and development process appropriate for a given project (essential). 
b. Organize instructional programs and/or projects to be designed, developed, and evaluated (essential). 
c. Design instructional interventions (essential). 
d. Plan noninstructional interventions (advanced). 
e. Select or modify existing instructional materials (essential). 
f. Develop specifications that serve as the basis for media production (essential). 
g. Design learning assessment (advanced).
