Welcome to my IDD portfolio! My name is Traci-Liegh Curran, and I am currently an M.Ed. candidate in the Learning, Design, and Technology program at the University of Georgia. I have completed coursework in research, evaluation, instructional design, eLearning development, and emerging technologies. While working towards the M.Ed. degree in the Department of Workforce Education and Instructional Technology, I was awarded two graduate assistantships. In my first graduate assistantship role, I perform instructional design work for the UGA Extension Office of Learning and Organizational Development. As an instructional designer in this office, I have redesigned in-person and online training, developed online courses, participated in digital literacy and technology committees, and worked as an LMS (Learning Management System) administrator. In my second graduate assistantship role, I am a research assistant under the direction of Dr. Matthew Schmidt. My work in this role comprises conducting VR/XR product research, UX research, and literature reviews. In addition to these responsibilities, I manage research projects, communicate with project stakeholders and design team members, maintain research documentation and databases, provide administrative support on research projects and manage lab tasks.

With over 15 years of diverse work experiences in Education, I have held several leadership roles on initiatives surrounding the design and implementation of K-12 STEM programs, accelerated language programs, digital language lab design, technology integration, product research, and lab administration.
My passions lie in designing, maintaining, and honing spaces that connect individuals and communities to tangible, personalized learning experiences. I am eager to contribute my expertise in Learning, Design, and Technology to corporate, non-profit, higher ed, and K-12 instructional design or performance technology projects.
